Join us for our February 5 luncheon featuring Chris Gunter with the Travis Audubon Society joining us to speak on birds!
Twice a year, billions of birds travel amazing distances to find a place to breed or spend their winter. Some of these birds will spend their spring and summer in the Austin area and some will enjoy the winter months here. Chris Gunter will talk about these feats of endurance known as migration and introduce us to a few of these beautiful birds that become our neighbors for a few months each year.
About Chris: Chris Gunter is a native Austinite and has been birding for over 40 years. He’s a Master Birder and Master Naturalist. Chris is former president of Travis Audubon and is currently on the board of directors. He enjoys leading bird walks, teaching birding classes and giving talks.
Pre-registration = $25 | At the door = $35
Registration deadline is Monday, February 3 @ 12pm.
